SMConfig

We are pleased to provide you with our Simple Modbus Configurator Software (SMConfig).

This software is free and suitable for easy configuration of remote devices. It can be used with any device using Modbus RTU communication protocol, however some functionality was developed especially for devices produced by SIMEX.

Idea of the program operation is based on the script files. The script file is a simple formatted text file indicating registers for write and values to be written into. The main assumption is that all configuration data is stored in a Holding Registers, so function 3 is used to read the data from the device and function 6 for writing the data.
